Pilates is more than just a workout; it’s a movement form that improves your quality of life in a variety of ways.

Whether you do Reformer Pilates exercises, private sessions or mat classes, you’re bound to reap the wide-ranging rewards this incredible form of exercise provides. It doesn’t matter if you work out at a Pilates studio or practice at home—if you do the exercises properly, you’re going to see results.

The concentration and focus that Pilates requires helps you build a deep connection to all the muscles of your body and how they all work. Over time, this leads you to perform all your movements and activity more efficiently, using the proper muscles and being careful with your positioning.

This mind-body connection helps prevent injury and teaches you to be more mindful with all of your movement, both in and out of the Pilates studio.

Luchiflow private classes uses an unique combination of techniques that she developed in the past 10 years.

The design of her classes allow the exercises to flow in a efficient way that you can restore postural alignment, create mobility and strengthen the spinal cord improving circulation. She teaches the concept of core strength and stabilization, as well as the use of the “Powerhouse” throughout life’s daily activities. The core is of primary importance since it stabilizes the region of the body where the center of gravity is located and where all human movement begins

When you have good core stability, the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen work in harmony. They provide support to your spine and help transmit increased power and performance for just about any activity.

Luchiflow Pilates combines and knowledge of Yoga and Dance techniques. It is an intelligent training structure, because it strengthens weak muscles and imbalances from the inside out.

Shiatsu Bodywork

The theory behind shiatsu is that our bodies are made up of energy, called Chi more precisely qi, and that energy gets blocked and causes pain. Shiatsu massage helps to remove the blockages by realigning meridian points, which balances the qi and eases the body and mind. When one balances qi, or vital energy, healing occurs in the body. The nervous and immune systems are both stimulated by applying pressure to the meridians, providing relief for both body and mind. Shiatsu also restores the circulatory system, improving blood flow throughout the body.

Luchi studied Shiatsu at the Guijek Institute where she learned the foundations of shiatsu to relieve pain, tension and fatigue. She learned this approach of massage of Japanese origin aiming to balance the energy of the body by means of pressures made on the journey of lines of energy called meridians.
